Dr. Tom Segar, Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs/Director for Residence Life at Shepherd University in Shepherstown WV will serve as the keynote speaker at lunch. He will discuss leadership and diversity issues and be an entertaining and encouraging speaker for both the student and professional staff. Dr. Segar holds a bachelor's of science degree in psychology, with a certificate in Afro-American studies from the University of Maryland and a master's of science degree in Counseling with a specialization in college student personnel from Shippensburg University. Dr. Segar is currently a PhD student in the University of Maryland's College Student Personnel Administration program where he holds a research and teaching fellowship. His professional concentration is Social Justice and Teaching in Higher Education.
